Great news! Talbot Humane's Spay/Neuter Midshore Program altered 501 dogs and cats owned by residents of Talbot and Dorchester Counties between January 1st and September 30th this year! Bad news- we have used ALL of our granted funds from the Maryland Department of Agriculture.

This program is important to the pets and their owners of our community. Free or low cost surgeries, vaccinations and exams all help create a healthier pet population and a more humane community.

  • $45 pays for a male cat neuter
  • $60 pays for a female cat spay
  • $ 75-100 male dog neuter (average)
  • $ 85-150 female dog spay (average)
  • $5 each for vaccines
