UNLEASHED running like the gate was left open! Historic drawbridge half marathon to benefit the Talbot County Humane Society

If you are reading this and you know me at all you are thinking what in the hell am I thinking...Well let me tell you why I am adding this to my already full plate of motherhood, working and going back to school to hopefully one day be a nurse. I am doing this because as my children become teenagers I realize how much I love my pets...No back talk, no taking them to practice, no dropping a ridiculous amout of money on jeans that are completely ripped! From animals all you get is unconditional love no matter what and what is better than that especially in the world we live in today!

In all seriousness I have toyed with the idea of a half marathon for years even went to an Unleashed meeting years ago but did not follow through. I have done a few 5k's and one 10k but life and by life I mean kids get in the way of these things and I never just went for it. However, when I found out that Unleashed was doing this local race right in my backyard I knew I had to check it off my bucket list, I am going for it!!

I have joined this fabuous running group that will train me to run the historic drawbirdge half marathon on November 6th and in return I will raise money for our local Humane Society!

I hate I mean hate asking for money, but I am going to! Help me help Talbot Humane to continue to provide the animlas in the community with the care they need.
