Paws & Plates - Gourmets Giving Back is here! This May, seven of the Eastern Shore's finest restaurants are setting their tables for compassion- we're celebrating the love of great food AND the animals who fill our lives with joy. We are excited to introduce our 2026 sponsor - Tito's handmade Vodka. Tito's has awarded us a $2500 gift with a challenge to the community to match this contribution in the month of May! A well-known supporter of animal welfare, Tito's established 'Vodka for Dog People', their aptly named philanthropic program in 1997 and has contributed significantly to the animal welfare community each year since the programs inception. One month. Seven restaurants. One powerful mission: keeping beloved pets with the families who love them. Ready to dine with purpose? From Doc's Sunset Grille kicking things off with live music on May 1st to Ava's Pizzeria & Wine Bar closing out the month on May 27th. Sip a signature animal-themed cocktail (yes, your $1 goes straight to the shelter!), savor incredible fare, and know that every bite supports families and pets in crisis. We're not asking you to bring your furry friends to dinner—just your appetite and your heart. This is our humane community- coming together to support the animals and the humans who love them!
